     ROSIE'S NEW FOREVER FAMILY

Our beautiful Rosie has found her forever home!!! Charlie and Gloria Waters heard Rosie’s story and knew it was meant to be. Charlie is an Army veteran and recently lost his support pup. And Rose is the name of Gloria’s mom.

Following the adoption, CAC brought all of Rosie's possessions to her, and it was evident she had already attached herself to Charlie, while Gloria pampered Rosie, providing ample treats the entire time.

Huge thanks and congratulations to the Waters couple! Rosie will spend the rest of her days in a safe, loving home that she deserves.

CHEKO finds DOUBLE the Love!

Joan reached out to CAC in hopes of finding a home for her beloved boy, Cheko.  Cheko is a 10-year-old chihuahua with so much love in his heart that he deserves to be placed in a loving, forever home.

After one home visit with Connie and Tom, we knew this was going to be Cheko's lucky day.  It was like these three were meant to be together.  Cheko will now enjoy a lifetime of love, compassion, and companionship.  And Joan can now have peace of mind knowing that Cheko will be taken care of forever.

Thank you, Connie and Tom, for taking a chance on Cheko.  We know you all will have lots of joy and adventures together!

Ginger has a new home!

Barbara contacted CAC and asked for our help finding a new, loving home for her sweet cat, Ginger.  Barbara realized that at this point in her life, it was getting increasingly difficult to provide adequate care for her fur baby, and she came to CAC in hopes of finding a caring family willing to welcome and provide a safe and loving environment for Ginger.

CAC did just that!

Paul and Jody saw CAC's post about Ginger, and it was love at first sight.  They contacted CAC to get more information, and fast forward, they are now the proud owners of this beautiful girl.  They are completely smitten with Ginger and have willingly sent Barbara updates on how Ginger has been adjusting to her new home.  Barbara has expressed how happy she is to see Ginger with such a loving couple.  And Ginger even gained a new friend, Orange!

Thank you, Paul and Jody, for opening your home and hearts to Ginger.

Our girl Leila got adopted today!

We received a call from Dave K. of Palm Bay, who was looking to fill the hole in his heart for the 4-pawed angel he recently lost. He immediately came to meet Leila, and it was like a match made in heaven. The meet-and-greet went great, and Dave asked if Leila could become his new best friend today!

Leila so deserved a wonderful permanent home, and we know Dave will provide that. A beautiful home, sprawling grounds, pool, and boats!

Thanks, Dave, for opening your home and heart to our sweet Leila.

Spiky's owner passed away and it was an extremely confusing time for him in so many ways. Spiky is blind and a handyman fixing up the house to sell had been feeding him but wouldn't be there much longer. With no family around, we needed to find this little old Cairn Terrier a home!

Meet Ms. Lucille, resident of Heritage Isle, who is lovingly giving this sweet little nugget a home. She is totally smitten as anyone who meets Spiky would be. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support, and adoption offers for this little dog.

You are all a blessing to CAC. It’s because of our generous community we can continue the wonderful work we’re able to do.

Meet Tigger! This sweet kitty recently found himself in need of a new home when his senior owner developed allergies. It was a heartbreaking situation, but we have the happiest of endings to share—Tigger has already found his purr-fect new home… in a beautiful oceanfront condo!

Ms. Judy P., who had recently lost her beloved kitty, opened her heart to Tigger, and as you can see in the picture, it was love at first sight! These two were meant to find each other, and now they will enjoy a lifetime of companionship and cuddles.

Thank you, Judy, for giving Tigger a loving home! Wishing you both endless joy together.

Fantastic News! Our Beau Bow has been adopted!! Ashley Guppenberger with the support of her mom, Missy, and the rest of the family, fell in love with Beau at the Winter Festival at Wickham Park. Love at first sight? Pretty much! Just check out the pics of Beau with his new family.

A huge shout out to Kathy D. for caring for Beau these last several months and to Erin B. for taking Beau initially. We couldn’t do any of this without our CAC fosters.

We know Beau is happy and loved at his new forever home.

CAC was contacted by Gianna, a warm, compassionate caregiver at The Blake, an assisted living facility in Viera. She spoke of a little dog named Sweetie that needed a home immediately, and could we help. She explained Sweetie’s mom had been suffering from severe dementia for over a year and had been isolating with her little baby for quite some time. Mom would be entering long-term care and Sweetie would need to be adopted.

We had Sweetie in our care the following day. A call was made to a lovely woman, Judy, who had recently lost her furry companion. Judy hurried over from her home in Indialantic to meet Sweetie, an 8 yr old Maltese, that couldn’t have weighed more than two pounds, was extremely stressed and in need of care. Judy fell in love and I knew her new momma was found. Only problem, Judy was leaving for Thanksgiving week.

Needless to say, I volunteered and lovingly fostered this little nugget for the week. Sweetie loves to cuddle but was extremely cautious initially. She ate nonstop even gaining a little weight, and slept very peacefully wrapped in a new blanket. Alas, Ms. Judy returned and the baby was placed in her arms. After lots of kisses (and a few tears from me) we placed Sweetie in her new car seat and said goodbye. A very happy ending for our Sweetie and for Judy who will provide the best life any pup could ask for. Another perfect example of the loving and compassionate work we are doing at CAC.

A Heartwarming New Beginning for Chase and Bolt!

Chase and Bolt, a sweet four-year-old sibling duo, have found their forever home with the loving Moon family!

From the moment they arrived, these inseparable cats started settling in and making themselves comfortable in their new surroundings. The journey wasn’t an easy one for Chase and Bolt. They tragically lost their beloved owner, who had cherished them deeply. While their owner’s family cared about the duo, severe allergies made it impossible for them to provide a home. Her granddaughter, determined to honor her grandmother’s love for Chase and Bolt, worked with us to find a family who would treasure them just as much.

That search led to the Moon family, whose hearts were immediately captured by Chase and Bolt. Now, these two wonderful cats are enjoying the second chance they truly deserve—a home filled with love, care, and a bright future.

Heartfelt thanks to the Goncalves family!

It’s a perfect match! We couldn’t be happier for Penny and Trixie, who have found a loving, forever home with the Goncalves family. Huge gratitude to Melissa, Alex, and Arianna for opening their hearts to these two special pups.

Penny and Trixie are incredibly sweet and have been devoted sisters since they were pups. Sadly, their elderly parents had to make the difficult decision to rehome them due to their declining health and multiple medical challenges. It was a hard choice, but their parents’ love and care for Penny and Trixie were clear—they wanted only the very best for their girls and hoped to keep them together.

Thanks to the Goncalves family, Penny and Trixie will continue their journey together in a wonderful home. Here’s to new memories, wagging tails, and lots of love ahead!

Dee & Kalie: A Match Meant to Be

Kalie’s story took a bittersweet turn on September 12th when her beloved mom passed away, leaving Kalie in need of a new home. As part of our mission, we were entrusted with finding her a loving place to land. That’s when Miss Dee stepped in, initially offering to foster Kalie during this transition. Little did she know that Kalie would quickly capture her heart.

As it turns out, Kalie is a very special reminder of love Miss Dee had lost. She had recently said goodbye to her own beloved dog, coincidentally named Callie. That shared name felt like a sign—another gentle reminder that love finds a way, even in the most unexpected places. For Miss Dee, welcoming Kalie into her life felt like more than just chance; it was proof that sometimes, God works in mysterious ways.

Now, Kalie has found her forever home with Miss Dee, where they can heal together, one day at a time.
